Larkin and Lacey Bring Attention to Major Issues in Human Rights

For Larkin and Lacey, human rights are an important part of the things that they do. They know what they can do to make things better on their own and they also know that things will continue to get better for other people who are dealing with human rights issues.

They have tried their best to make things easier on people and they know that they will continue to be among the best options for those who are in bad situations. The men have remained committed and they know that their help will be what makes things better for people.

Just recently, women were dealing with human rights issues. The women who were playing tennis for a certain league were not able to have the same rights as men. While this is something that was fought for years ago, it continues to be a problem and something that most women have to deal with on a regular basis.

All humans should have the same rights, but that is something that is not going to continue to be possible for people who are in those situations and who are trying their best to be able to get to certain points in their lives.

Even when people like Larkin and Lacey do what they can to help others, they know that they are not going to be able to provide people with all of the help that they need. It is something that has to come from many people coming together and the men knew that when they started the Frontera Fund.

They wanted to use it to bring more people together so that they could show them what a difference it would make in those situations. They also did what they could to help other people out with the experiences that they had no matter what type of issues they faced in those instances.

As things got better for different people, Larkin and Lacey knew that they wanted to show them what they were able to do. They wanted these people to be happy and they tried to increase immigrant rights. They are now focusing on other human rights, too. They are hoping that women will eventually be able to have the same type of rights as men so that they can feel comfortable in different situations as they do their best to be able to help more people out with the issues that they have.

Since Larkin and Lacey knew what they were doing and since they knew a lot about the issues that they were going through, they had to do their best to be able to show other people what they could get.

They knew a lot about the situations that people were in and tried to always make sure that they were giving them the help that they needed.

They also wanted to show people that things could get better as long as they had someone who was willing to be an advocate for them in different situations.

Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin Starts the Frontera Fund and the Front Page Confidential

On October 18, 2007, Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin [executives of Village Voice Media, who publishes Phoenix New Times] were illegally arrested at their Phoenix homes. Arpaio, the Sheriff of Maricopa County, called for the arrest. It was stated that the reason behind the arrest was because of a post in Phoenix New Times by the two executives that stated that “grand jury subpoenas targeted the paper’s writers, the editors and its readers. Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin had been exposing Arpaio’s discriminatory actions against Latinos and Hispanics to the public for sometime and this was a retaliation and a message that he was fed up. The arrest violated Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin’s First Amendment right.

In 2013, Maricopa County would pay out $3.7 million to settle the wrongful arrest dispute. Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin would use the payout to start the Lacey and Larkin Frontera Fund. This organization works to support non-profit organizations, which actively supports the rights of Latinos and Hispanics. Since it started, it has helped many organizations [by giving grants] assist Latinos and Hispanics who have been discriminated against by law enforcement and public officials. In addition, after selling Backpage in 2015, Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin would start “Front Page Confidential”. This website was created to display their fight against violations of the freedom of the press clause of the First Amendment that is so common throughout the United States.
